OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Catherine Wical
Worship & Media Pastor

Catherine moved to Lomita from her home state of South Dakota. She felt the call to Worship Ministry when she was 12 years old at a Wednesday night youth service altar call. In college she attended North Central University in Minnesota where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Worship Arts-Music Pastor. Her passion is to lead the body of Christ in worship with one heart, voice, and song to glorify the one true everlasting God.
Kiara Olson
Youth Pastor

Originally from Minneapolis, MN, where she graduated from North Central University in 2015 with a degree in Intercultural Studies – World Missions, Kiara recently moved to Lomita in response to a calling from God. She is passionate about coming alongside students as they become mature followers of Christ who connect with God through prayer, grow in their understanding of God’s Word, and confidently share their faith with others. Kiara believes strongly in the impact God can make in a student’s life and in the impact God-fearing students can have as spiritual examples to their friends and families.
Ryan & Lily Seelig
Kids Pastors

Growing up in South Orange County, Ryan and Lily Seelig met as teenagers at church camp. They were married in 2003, began their family, and currently reside in Downey. They have enjoyed serving the Lord in many roles including custodian, hospitality lead, and food bank director, but their true passion is serving in children’s ministry, which they have done for the past 8 years. It brings them joy to equip the next generation of believers and to be able to partner with families to help “train up a child.” When not at church you can find Lily teaching middle school social studies and Ryan at the gym. They love camping and road trips with their children, Elyssa and Nolan.

Maria Evans
Women’s Ministry Pastor

God captured a broken and lost girl in the late 80’s. Amazing grace doesn’t even begin to tell the story. Maria’s heart’s desire is to see all those who are lost and broken experience our amazing God. Her passion to preach God’s word in a practical way led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in theology with a minor in biblical counseling from the King’s University. She and her husband, Robert, have been married since 1991. They love living in Lomita together and have raised 3 wonderful-children.
