  • 1. What should I expect when I visit?

    You'll find a welcoming community, engaging worship, practical biblical teaching, and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether it's your first time in church or you've attended for years, you'll be greeted with a smile and invited to feel right at home.

  • 2. What should I wear?

    Come as you are. Some people dress casually while others prefer to dress up. You'll fit in either way. We're more interested in meeting you than what you're wearing.

  • 3. How long is the service?

    Our Sunday morning service lasts approximately 75 minutes and includes worship, prayer, and a practical message from the Bible.

  • 4. Is there something for my kids?

    Absolutely! Calvary Kids provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children learn about Jesus through age-appropriate lessons, worship, games, and activities. All of our children's ministry volunteers are carefully screened and background checked.

  • 5. What about middle school and high school students?

    Our Slingshot Youth ministry is designed specifically for students to grow in their faith, build authentic friendships, and discover God's purpose for their lives through dynamic services, small groups, camps, and special events.

  • 6. I'm new to church. Will I fit in?

    Absolutely. Many people who attend Calvary Assembly started exactly where you are. Whether you're exploring faith, returning to church, or simply have questions, you'll find a welcoming community where you can belong before you believe.

  • 7. Do I have to be a Christian to attend?

    Not at all. Everyone is welcome. You don't have to have your life together or know everything about the Bible. We'd love the opportunity to meet you and walk alongside you wherever you are on your spiritual journey.

    Calvary Assembly is located at 25501 Oak Street, Lomita, CA 90717, conveniently serving families throughout Lomita, Torrance, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, Palos Verdes Estates, Harbor City, San Pedro, and the greater South Bay.

  • 9. How can I get connected?

    Getting connected is easy! Join us on a Sunday, stop by our Welcome Center, attend a Next Steps class, join a small group, or become part of one of our ministry teams. We'd love to help you find your place.

  • 10. How can I receive prayer or speak with a pastor?

    Our pastors would be honored to pray with you. You can speak with someone after any service, contact the church office during the week, or submit a prayer request through our website. Whatever you're facing, you don't have to walk through it alone.
